I have xj that I put a rustys 6.5 long arms kit on about 3 years ago and the front flexed pretty good but the back didn't flex for sh!t. So in the back I did a 4 link. Know that I 4 linked the back about a year and a half ago the front doesn't flex for sh!t. So I have played with the back coil. I started with stock front xj coils and they where way to soft. So now I have 94 impala rear coils and they seem alot better. I would like to know what I can do to get the front to flex like the back. Thanks any info will help. I will post up some pics tomorrow.

Is the spring the only issue? How much up and down travel do you have right now? Bumstops or shocks limiting anything? Got some pics to throw up so we can take a look?

It's all about balancing the spring rate ft to rear.
When your rear leafs were too stiff, your front did all the work.
Now your rear is too soft, and doing all the work.
I like my rear suspension stiffer than the front, more stable & predictable, with less vehicle 'flop' as you go over obstacles.
So, for me, I'd try stiffer rear coils.
If you liked the height of the stock XJ coils, just looking for something stiffer, 3.5" RE ZJ REAR coils should be about right.
