How bad did I mess up when I welded my diff.?
Think it will hold up?
This is a trailor queen and never sees pavement. Basically I welded both side gears to the carrier , then bolted the carrier back together and tack welded the cover side gear cover to help the bolts out a bit.
I am running stock injected 1300cc with 83.6% t-case, stock diffs. , and 33x12.5 tires.

Dude, thats not enough weld, take it apart and weld the teeth together or its gonna let go, maybe even your first time out.

not half enough......... you need the spiders, and side gears welded together, then to the case.......
check out my welded rear (http://www.angelfire.com/ns2/bushwhackers) in the TECH section............. the linclon locker report........ mine never let go yet..........

my advice is to weld everything that touches inside the diff. then fill the gaps in the gear teeth too. be sure to do it slowly, allowing it to cool for a bit between welds. get the carrier too hot and itl warp.

Guess I'll be tearing it out again and doing some more welding.
