again my 88' trooper is fucked up. I posted about my timming recently, and it's now all good, every thing lined up. New plugs and wires. But it won't run. I can get it started, runs rough, but as i try to pull forward, it dies, no guts left, now power, nothing. Timming light is showing 12 degrees BTDC, just installed a Delta cam, and adjusted valves. wondering if it's a relay on the passanger side near the fast idle silenoid. Please help. this is my DD and i need to work. Can't even pull out of the drive way to take it to a machanic.

How does it run if you take the timing back to 0?

Althougth Ive never fit a cam before. I have heard of the same thing happening. Turned otut hat the guy had the cam aligned 180 degrees out of wack. Just something to keep an eye on.
