We have industrial "Velcro" (some call it hook and loop) on our pop top.
Little bit of sand paper on the metal frame then some contact glue, and it is stapled on the canvas side.

good idea...i'd like to use it this weekend and dont have time to do that...i would like to know how it's supposed to work

i got it now: the door seals have to be started before i raise the top.
