Has anyone else noticed that the steering wheel is not centered on the drivers seat in the current GM trucks? It bothers the hell out of me.

Uh, wheel wasn't really centered in my "old" '89 Jimmy either. It allows for the elbow to rest on the window sill while holding the wheel with two fingers, while shifting with the right.

Lots of rides are like that, it's just a packaging thing, ergonimics (S/P?)

mine is centered haha!. I built a custom seat frame that bolted to the stock mounts and then just put my seats on that so I centered it, peice O cake
