Ok so I know you'll all want this moved, but I would like to get info on this quick.
I want to build a 40' goose neck flat bed trailer and I'm looking for plans. Can you help?
Please save the smart ass comments for the newbies, and yes I did a search, and checked out the towing section.:D
My other choice is to buy a used trailer, know of any?
Thanks

WOW that is a huge trailer!! I went thru about 50 pages on yahoo when I searched for "trailer plans" and the longest trailer "plan" that were sold was 28 ft. I did find this page: http://www.trailersforless.com/cargosport_shadowgooseneck5thwheel_specs.html and they list the I beam and other info on their 40 ft trailers.
Here's a good place to look for used ones: http://www.racersauction.com/auction/category.cfm?categoryID=11

If you come across any can you PM me where? I've thought about building a 30' trailer to haul a couple jeeps on. Haven't gone looking for plans yet, but also don't really want to have to buy the plans either.

Rich, the trailer i pull at work is 40ft total with a 32 ft deck. You are welcome to take measurements from it. Also Century wheel in west sac has some kinda plan poster on the wall in the office so i would think that they sell them. Nick

Thanks Nick that is solid info and I might just come measure that baby. I also found a line on reconditioned 5th wheel trailers that have been converted to flat beds, I'll check that out on Monday.
