Might want to move this to the tow rig section, chances for a answer there might be better.

I'm a fan of the throttle body spacers on most gas rigs but on a turbo diesel I don't see how spinning the air pre-turbo would help. If it were my money I would look at different mods.

That and it doesn't even have a throttle body on it. All it does is go into your intake tube, looks more like a restriction to me.

People actually buy those things?

Intake manifold designers spend lots of time, money and research to reduce turbulent flow, and you want to spend money on something that adds it?

If the OEM's manifolds are so great why do we have the option for aftermarket intakes that will increase power?

The most OEM's intakes are designed with economy in mind, be it what they pay for it or your fuel milage.

How would a TB spacer work on an engine without a throttle

how would adding a 1/2 inch of intake tract length affect anything at all.

Check out www.thedieselstop.com, you can find out more than you care to about your motor... and the throttle body spacer for a vehicle without a throttle body just seems counter intuitive to me? A Tornado for your intake however might add some power:shaking:

They are a complete waste of time and money. Spend the money on something that actually works.

I find it amazing that every auto manufacturer designed the intakes 1" too short. :shaking: Throttle body spacers do nothing for multi-port injected vehicles.

How would adding 1/2" to your cawk change anything?

You'd have a 1/2" cawk :flipoff2:

No, what I am saying is you have no cawk, and I have no spacer :flipoff2:
