For running at Rausch Creek and Tellico, which way would be the best to go on tires? Iroks, TSL's, or Baja Claws?
Right now, running Mud Kings and want to upgrade a bit.

35-12.5 now, looking at a set of 36-12. I know the TSL's are a true 36" when mounted on the rim size I have.

My last Jeep had 36x12.5x15 TSL radias that I switched out for 36x135x15 Irok Bais. Night and day difference on the rocks and snow. Current Jeep has 39.5 Iroks and I'm sticking with those.

the bias iroks have a weaker sidewall compared to the bias TSL SX. I have a set of SX's and My steel wheels bend before I rip a sidewall. But I have seen iroks get destroyed. They also say, the SX's stick better and have a better sidewall traction.

36" Iroks measure just shy of 37". I know TSLs are tough as nails, ive never seen a tattered IROK either tho. I run the IROKs, for the siping. You won't go wrong with either. If you wheel snow, get the IROKs

It all depends on your location and environment. Down here at the the Hammers, People where screaming for a 40"+ tsl sx, and we finally got it. Iroks suck in the environment down here. They just don't grip and weak non grabing sidewalls. People going to the Maxxis CC's but are stupid expensive! But I see your point about the snow issue. Iroks are a little softer and the siping can help.
It just boils down to your location

Thanks guys, decided to go with the TSL's got a good deal on a set of 36" ones. Going to keep my 35" Mud Kings for the snow run and road use when needed.

Ive been to Rausch a few times with 37" Iroks and absolutely love them. They have performed better than I had hoped. I really air them down and havent had a sidewall issue yet.

I like a challenge so I use racing slicks. Or maybe those big plastic paddleboat tires.
Go with the Iroks.
