Don't be too quick to call me a wuss here...

THe clutch on this truck is very stiff in my opinion. I have driven all kinds of old beat ass F600s and A few Kodiaks. The only thing I have ever driven with a stiffer clutch pedal was My friend's old Flexible Bus... my ass left the seat every time I shifted that thing...

Anyway, there's something wrong with my knee (goes all the way back to highschool track running so I can't blame it on this truck), and after A long weekend of driving this thing I typically spent several stiff days limping around, and I'm tired of it. This truck's all apart and I've been bombarding this website with all kinds of questions about various engine tech and other crap, so here's some more...

I want to know if there is a larger bore master cyl., or something that will soften up the pedal feel. The return springs on the pedal, and on the slave look more like garage door springs than clutch springs, so this may be a large part of the problem also... havn't tried playing with the springs yet (I'm sure I will) but the truck is apart now, and I want to tackle as much as I can while putting everything back.
Thanks.

not too sure but I have stock hydraulic parts and mine is as soft as a mini truck. I have no spring.

What type of clutch, diaphram or 3 finger?

you can remove the super spring and find the mini spring instead.

the super spring hangs almost vertical from way up high on the colum bracketry. the mini spring is paralle to the center line of the steering colum.

if you go to the parts store you can get a random spring assortment in the HELP packages, it will have a couple you can make work.

"super spring" that's say it right there. I guess I'll try messing with return springs before I go looking for new master cylinders...

oh, and, it was a diaphram clutch that just came out, so I asumed that was already about as good as that part gets... ?
