Why yes, the Ellensburg people who have jerked the Rich's around for years are...

My father lives in Battleground...I was looking forward to an event near him, but no chance, the powers that be in Ellensburg have slammed the door yet again, after a hefty invstment on our part into working with them...too bad, they, and some issues the sport had in Goldendale make it "not so tasty" to try to come back to the region.

So the whole region, as in the PNW is out? That is a huge disappointment for us locals. After having competed at Goldendale 3 times and watched twice I would hate to see WE Rock leave the PNW permanently.

No, not permanently, but with the costs involved and the issues we've had, it doesn't look as enticing to continue pushing only to find dissapointment once again.

The PNW issues affected not only W.E.ROCK but a number of teams and if we're going to come back, we're going to need people to come to us with real plans of action...

We all love when we actually get to compete there but the difficulty surrounding it sure does make our heads spin. The crowds are amazing, fun-loving, and are true lovers of off road...the towns/powers that be, on the other hand...well, they don't exacly make it seem like our business and dollars are welcome. It confuses the heck outta me, that's for sure. It SHOULD be a win-win, but they don't play it that way.

Contact Portland International Raceway. Tons of room for a course. Could incorporate Thursday night motocross and Friday/Saturday night legal drags into the marketing/promotion side of things (to draw spectators). Travis Pastrana and Kenny Bartram were at the motocross races two weeks ago promoting the Oregon rally race. Good place for a demo. It is just minutes from the airport.

There is a competition following We-Rock rules in Oregon on June 28th. All who are interested should look into it. The Deschutes County 4wheelers are hosting the event and are active in land-use issues. If you want to watch or compete, you should look into it. It is a great time for all.

I may acutally make that!! I just found out both the girlfriend and I have Friday's and Saturday's off in June!

Ive heard rumors theres a potentual comp in the spokane,wa. area for next year.

For everyone's info, we're not ruling out the NW, we're just getting wary and balancing our time looking in other surrounding regions, not just focusing on WA for one of our stops.

Im working on getting some private land in WA, I talked to Rich about it and he seems interested so maybe there is hope for next season.

We will be working with Stratleline on getting something built there. We are hoping for something out of the Spokane area as well.

We have been invited to Mt. Schweitzer, Idaho (ski Resort)

We are in the works for a location in Meford Or.

We will not stop working on expanding the west.

It just hurt personnelly, the whole thing with Elensburg :shaking:

The whole staying at the parent's house rather than a hotel thing kinda appeals to me for some reason...

Anything is better than the 20plus hour drives to most of the other comps. Even going to Idaho would be nice...
