Ground off the smog pump mount ears and ground the webbing down on the edge of the alternator bracket to get my new bracket flush.

Flexxj90 05-26-2008, 07:58 AM hows it work?
chebbykiller 05-26-2008, 12:37 PM I dont have it wired or plumbed yet, but I jumped it and it sure spits out some air (and oil).

10 cubic inches of air per rotation to be exact... :smokin:

Depends which model you have. Could be 10.3, 8.69, or 6.10. :flipoff2:
Nickm 05-31-2008, 06:42 PM Did you use the same smog size belt?
chebbykiller 05-31-2008, 11:10 PM No. I dont remember the exact size of the old one, but the new one is 98.5" and is a little longer.
Jorge Meza 06-01-2008, 12:08 AM Why you still keep the original AC compressor?
chebbykiller 06-01-2008, 01:20 AM Because its fucking hot here.
Roughshod 06-01-2008, 01:25 AM Why you still keep the original AC compressor?
Ummm...this is just a guess here...maybe he's keeping it for air conditioning? Dumbass.
chebbykiller 06-01-2008, 01:32 PM I guess it would help if I showed where I got the serpentine clutch. http://www.ryderfleetproducts.com/cgi-bin/ryderfp/products/srm/oid/47299/erm/product_detail.jsp
Almost half the cost of a v-belt/serpentine specialty pulley.

That was my next question....:D Thanks Boss :smokin:
Nickm 06-01-2008, 04:30 PM I have a plate with the bolt pattern for the York. I made a set up for my old 2001 Dodge Ram. All I need to do is weld some of those tabs. Can you measure the distance of the tabs from the front edge to where you welded the tabs.
I can show you what I mean as soon as my server is back up, a fire took it down yesterday.
T
chebbykiller 06-01-2008, 04:39 PM I can measure them, but I dont think it will do you any good for a Dodge. Mine is an '89 EFI 351W.
Edit: Nevermind, I just saw the Ford setup in yer sig. It still might not be the same on a 5.0, though.

I am putting this on my 5.0, I have a left over plate from my Dodge
I didnt know they were that different. Ill just have to use a squre to line them up
chebbykiller 06-01-2008, 04:58 PM You can have 10 variations for any given part for any year hah.
svt150j49 06-01-2008, 07:08 PM You must not be a Ford guy. :shaking: You can have 10 variations for any given part for any year hah. I would suggest measuring it yourself, it would be pretty gay to weld it all up and not fit. I just made cardboard templates before cutting any steel.
thats not always true. :shaking:

Nickm 06-02-2008, 05:25 PM Here are the brackets I made for my old 2001. I still have some of the bracket sets. I can use the flat part (lower pic) for the buggy air system.
