I'm at the local scrap yard today picking up some steel for a project and I noticed, sitting in one of the aluminum bins, three air tanks like the ones the FD uses.
I asked the guy if they'd sell 'em and how much, he said they'd definatly sell them but couldn't give me a definate price since he was filling in for the regular guy and I didn't have time to wait.

I'm going back Monday to check them out and I figure they shouldn't be much since scrap aluminum is only around 38¢ a pound.
If they're cheap enough I'll pick up all three and since I only need one would anyone else be interested in the other two at my cost plus shipping?

Oh BTW I priced out 2"x3"x41" square tube at the local steel dealer and they quoted me $118 for 80" (smallest they'd sell). The guy at the scrap yard gave me roughly 10' of 3"x3" for free!:D
