wanting do 2 do a sas on a 99 f150 does anyone know what problems i might run into i am goin to use the suspension off of a 73-79 full size ford and have also heard that you can us 80 to 96 rear springs does any one know if that is true?

well searching will tell you, i KNOW this has been coverd, the steering is coverd many times on many builds. as for the speed sensors unless the 99 has the sensor in the front axle you have nothing to worry about. all the trucks ive worked on (pre 90's) had them on the t-case or tranny, so dont worry about it

i wanna do a 8 lug conversion with a 44 in front and a 60 in the rear thats why i am posting a new thread i didnt see it in the search :confused:

i found everything but the speedo not sure if the rear axle sensor is for speedo or abs is there a way 2 tell?

ummm goto the local auto store and buy a book? i understand this is the newbie section but comeon, i mean you might aswell just give someone the truck to build for you

im not a newb 2 this i just know ford used 99 as a transition year and there isnt anything certain in the book
