I am starting to put some real money into my jeep. I want to make Each wheel articulate independently. I dont really care to have it flex an extreme amount, but i want it to flex more than it does now. I am not into much of the rock crawling, but more into the mud. (it still has stock suspension on it, though i have a 4 inch suspension lift for it that i got when i bought the jeep).

I have a friend that has a friend that has the same setup as I want, but i have no way of getting a-hold of him.

I have heard that the tera flex shackles are a waste of money........(they look pretty simple to fabricate alot cheaper)... what do i need to get to make this happen?

Well, I am assuming that shackles means you are running leaves. It would be handy to know what vehicle you are running.

Revolver shackles, if that is what you are refering to, are dangerous to have on a rig that is going to see more than an RTI Ramp.

Just my .02 on those.

If you want to have each wheel articulate independently, you have the wrong vehicle as you have solid axles front and rear.

Perhaps more information would be handy....

The Jeep is a 1974 CJ-5, strait 6. Ya.....I dont really know very much about making the wheel articulate, so this is why i am asking questions.....I have to learn somehow, and i dont reallly want to spend tons of money and find out it doesnt work the way i thought it would.

So ya, thats what it is for a vehicle
