: CJ Brakes - Booster/MC Replacement

I've got a stock CJ brake booster that's leaking like a seive. I'd like to upgrade from the pick-n-pull, but want to stay with a booster/mc setup instead of hydroboost. I've done a lot of searching and come up with mostly a GM Dual Diaphragm setup.

I've got a couple of questions -

First, most of the stuff here on POR is related to YJ stuff. I'm wondering if stock CJ linkages will prevent the use of this setup. (Not a _whole_ lot of fab skills)

Then, what would I find the GM Dual Diaphragm setup in? Lots of posts with "use it" but no "find it here"

For now this would be going in with some line adapters to work with the stock CJ brake setup I've got (disk & drums). Shortly, though, I want it to be compatible with chevy 1/2 ton equipment as I'm swapping in waggy 44s.

Anyway, done with the rambling newbie question.

Now just looking for a good application to take a GM Dual Diaphragm Booster/MC out of. MC should be a good match for Waggy brake gear - disk fronts drum rears.

Thanks, one last bump....

why not hydro boost
cheap easy to find, no fab skills other that teeing one line
and expanding the whole size, and the brakes are outstanding

Yea, I'm a ways away still but PYRO has a write-up on his site and hydro looks like the way to go. The other option I have been looking at is a 1968 corvette manual 4 discs master. I priced it at $29 (autozone), they also have a power assisted version too (68 vette), but I don't know if that can use the stock CJ booster.

But then what would I know? I have been upgrading my rebuild as I go from all the post's on this site (what I read makes sense)......looking forward to charging the hardest lines instead of looking for a way around :)
