Looks OK, 1/8 isn't very thick metal though. For the $20 worth of steel it would take to build one I'd buy a welder instead and make one. Also find out if he's going to give you some spacers with it, that little donut tire is resting against the rack - a real tire isn't going to fit unless you space it out.

If you need one, ill build you one, But made out of 1/4 wall....and will hold a 38!!
