A friend of mine started his own fabrication company and built me this killer cage. It is tied into the frame at the X and at the front floor mounts.

am i wrong or does it look like the cage is not square in pic 1?! maybe it's just the angle at which the pic was taken or the way it's sitting on the ground.
don't get me wrong, it does look like a very nice cage!!!

Since the cage looks square in every other shot, also, since I know Jason is not gonna build a cage with a 1/16th" goof,............
It's an optical illusion.

orange.... i was gonna say the same thing, it also looks like it might be a little bit off in pic 5 too... but the garage door makes it difficult to tell.

Great cage man! i particularily like the way he threw in the loops on the X to keep the belts from wandering.

Nice looking cruiser too, by the way. :)

Where in Austin, Jeff? Does he do all sort of fabrication or is cages a specialty? I am in desperate need of slight fabrication on my roof rack and trailer, and now that Austin is my playground (more like slavepit, he, he!).....

By the way, saw a KILLER red FJ40 at the intersection of I-35 and 32nd street. It was parked there all day on Thursday, so I'm guessing someone drives it to work?

Saw a sweet, lifted FJ55 in Bastrop on Friday, too....

Henry, this guy does it all. He is new to the business and hungry. Call Hunter...his Pig is over there getting a bumper right now.

Hey warpdrive,
Are your military wraps still on the shacle side or did you flip the second leaf around to be on the spring hanger side?

Henry,

Come on out THURSDAY NIGHT @ 7:00 to Rudy's BBQ on 183 (just north of Braker Lane. 183 is also known as Research Blvd on that section) to meet up with the cruiser heads in town. Jason should be there.

Jason's shop is out in Taylor (west of Round Rock). You can get the contact info off his web site www.jkcustoms.com

Cheers,

Tom

P.S. Got the bids back for my shop.... OUCH! Looks like all my stuff will be stored at a buddies down in Bastrop for a few months, while building the shop. Already had an idea on how to raise the sides... build them flat, and raise them with FOUR winches... :D

Hey Henry, nice to see you alive and well! Jason will do pretty much anything you can come up with I'd think.
Also, you've seen his work before. He's the one who did my cage. (For anyone else, mine is the blue 40 on the webpage that roundrocktom listed.)
