: Brake light switch adjustment??? Help Ramstein 07-21-2002, 12:27 PM It looks simple enough but I dont wanna screw it up. Im seeing a jam nut on the switch (against the bracket) but it seems to be tack welded. Is this the case and if so, what is the trick. I need to move the switch forward about .050" Any suggestions? Thanks Big DW 07-21-2002, 02:32 PM the nut on the front part of the switch is tac welded to the bracket...you need to get a narrow wrench in there and loosen it from the rear...it's a PITA but thats how ya do it...I had to replace mine...so I know what your going thru...good luck!
