Ordered a d300 clocking kit form SRC Extreme.
Good kit all the stuff needed, except locktite and RTV. ;)
Good to deal with and shipped out quick even though 4th of July was coming up.
Did a little floorpan clearancing and went all out.(No BL :( )
Once I'm SOA the front driveshaft should clear the bellhousing.[crossing fingers...looks ok so far]
Twin sticking next.
Here's the result as she sits. ENJOY

What did you have to do to get it to fit?
I am just from my garage and I jack up the transfer case and the shifter stuff is hitting the body. Do I have to cut the body out to fit this thing?

$$$? check out their site. I think it was $140 bucks for the kit.
As far as body cutting it is purely up to you but I took out a lot to make it easier to do my twin stick (next project).
I will be welding soem of it back in, and the rest I will make a plate for that will be removeable.
(Will make taking the front driveshaft out easy.)
Heres what I cut as the front Yoke is now above the leveel of the floorpan slightly.

Sorry for the crappy pic...I will be returning the top most portion of sheet metal(around the stock tranny access plate) to normal when I am done.
Had to remove a little bit of a brace that runs under the seat...but it is still connected a little farther back to a sheetmetal x-member, I don't think this will effect much.

You guys are a bunch of butchers ...
In a CJ-7 with a 1" body lift ... full clock ...
http://www.monsterslayer.com/jeep/images/ClockPan.jpg
... only took out 4 inches square from the tunnel cut out's edge of on the passenger's side to make the twin sticks easier to get to.

It would be flat ... but the NV4500 is too fat!

Yeah well see all that crap hanging down under your frame?
Yeah I wont have that.
:flipoff2:
I'm not a butcher...I'm a surgeon.
It will look nice and pretty so you wont be embarassed to take it to the prom, or the mall. :flipoff2:
Seriously though...I will be fabbing up a nice cover for that areaand actually wedling back on some of it...and having a BL would have made all the difference in the world.
Sadly...doing a BL on this particular Jeep would be alot harder than fabbing a custom tranny xmember, and a flat skid. IMO.
Lots of broken bolts and cussing and drilling and such.

Just teasing, MJ. Really ...
Actually I was a butcher (ahemm, meat cutter) for over 10 years.
I can see where you were up against the floor board.
And swapping a little of that for a flat skid is a good trade-off.
I gotta dump that OEM skid with the drop cut and raised and hope to get at least another inch more clearance ... or at least ememinate that wavy bottom and have it smoother ... and a little thicker ... down there.
To achieve a totally flat skid, I've seen guys go so far as to cut the outline of the belly of their NV4500 out of the middle of their skid armor bringing it flush with the trannie's bottom.
But, I though one of the better reasons for having a skid was to prevent yer trannie from becoming a pinwheel's pivot point on a perilous pinnacle! :flipoff2:

So was I. ;)
People that drive baby blue Jeeps generally need to tease someone to compensate.

My (Currie) twin stick alteration turned out pretty well ...
The top two inches of the rectangular steel pivoting arms were bent over away from the driver's side about 30 degrees.
Then we chopped the shifer sticks, heated and black smith flattened the stubs then bent the last two inches about 30 degrees toward the driver's side.
The new flat spots on the sticks were lap joint welded to the bent rectangular arms keeping a nice low profile ...
