Wow, great find and great detective work there Todd. Stroppe definitely knew what was up building those race trucks so many years ago...

Sweet find! An old Stroppe racer. If only that truck could talk back and tell stories.....

I hope the owner fixes it up and takes it on tour to some local PHX shows/events. Rare find.

I know that Todd has been trying to buy it for quite a few years. The Arizona classic bronco club does a run to the pavillion car show every summer maybe he'll bring it out then.

You need to find an old 2 spoke bronco steering wheel that was foam dipped.
Originally the shocks were either the Gabriel silver adjustable E's (which you have a couple of) or Gabriel Grand National tie rod end shocks. Usually the 4 back ones were the silver E's and the front ones were silver E's in the stock location and the very front were tie rod end Grand Nationals. If you look at the front weld on mounts the mounting holes should have a taper in them for the tie rod ends to fit into.
