My wife wants electric start, so that means her 86 250R has to go. It is a very clean, un-abused quad and is highly modified. All the usuall bolt ons but the real money is in the motor and suspension. PEP tripple rate shocks with rezzies up front and the rear shock has been modified by PEP with his valving and spring. The quad rides like a dream over anything you can aim it at, as fast or slow as you care to go.
The motor is a Duncan National motor, with Paul Turner pipe, ETC. Great power, smooth, and fast!
There is a lot more to list, if you are interested, let me know. I can send pics and complete specs. I am in Tucson, AZ, and can help with delivery, or meet, whatever.

If you can find a buyer for the 250R, I have a NICE 2002 400EX that has a pipe and stuff for sale.

She would really like electric start for her R. Of course, that ain't happening. It wouldn't break her heart, or mine, if we kept it. It is a very nice daily driver type of Hot Rod. Not a sand dune only machine. but immaculately maintained.
She used to have a Banshee, but opted to give up a little power for the better handling of a 250R. It cracks me up to watch her pound through the whoops and come back to say the suspension feels a little stiff, could I soften it up just a little?
I just felt that if the right 400EX came along, everybody could be happy, but it looks like the people with EX's either owe money on them, or think that they are F'ing gold plated and they will take my quad plus 2 grand for their mostly stock 400EX.
Anyhow, if you want a pic, just to see it or whatever, shoot me your e-mail.
Later.

The outright price in 4100 on the quad. It is extremely well optioned and equiped. Let me know if you want the long list. Incidentally, I am moving to Ft. Lewis in January. I will need to hook up with somebody local to show me the good riding areas and to go to the Oregon Dunes with. What do you ride?

people with a 400ex ought to be paying you the extra money. A 400ex is pathetic compared to a R hehe.
