Yes, I was on it a couple of weeks ago. They still need to pave from Stumpy Meadow to just past Uncle Toms, but the rest is done and the section that is not has been graded.

It's open - Went through last thursday night. Big bear hanging out at Wentworth Springs Camp. Saw the teeth marks in a cooler - Big Bear. Lights don't bother him. And... I heard... that ummmm... gun shots... didn't seem to scare him away...
