i'm not up on my fullsize axles,but since a d70 fell in my lap for free........
after some searching i found that a gm d60 dualie front is 77" wide(correct me if i'm wrong).i'm assuming pass. side diff.
my main question is what it takes to reduce that width down to 69" or less if possible. TIA

thanks for the link camo.that opens all kinds of possibilities.with a hp60 i could retube and get a better match to the 66.5" d70 that i have. if i can find one that doesn't cost a million$$. i noticed that the dually fronts were a little cheaper. thats why i'm leaning that way.
