Specs : 94 Bronco, E4OD, 351W
Problem - No Speedometer and tranny will shift only when RPM's climb past 4000. My guess the problem is the Vehicle Speed Senor, or the ABS controller. I pulled the VSS out of a 99 ranger, wire colors were the same, looked the same, not sure if it is compatable though. Installed it and no dice. So Im guessing that either the VSS is not compatable from the 99 or the ABS controller is fried. I removed the front ABS senors when I did the SAS so the ABS light is always on. I also removed the ABS controller one time before and the way if acted then, is the way its acting now. I beating my head and looking for some input and if anyone has a extra ABS controller laying around. I think the problem may be obvious but I want to be sure im not missing anything. Thanks for the help!
