I have heard of the 8274 and a few friends have them but I thought it was Warns only over/under config winch. A buddy of mine has another Warn that's over/under for sale with a model # of 5687 and it's rated at 8000 also. Does anyone have any info on this winch? How does it compare to the 8274. It's in perfect shape and he's asking 400. Good deal or not?

Damn, you must get some good use out of your winch with 35s and 30 by 9.5 ATs. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

This is the pre-8274 upright. They kick ass. I had one on the Cruzah years ago. The only problem with them is that they don't have reverse. No big deal though, since you can put free spool it. Go for it! <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Don't forget that the parts are getting near impossible to get for the earlier "Bellevue" winches. So make sure it all works.
