I have two 1983 Jeep 258 block's. One is compleat the other is in pieces.

The compleat one: Just pulled last week running. Does have s slight rod knock had it for three years and not got any worse. the valve cover does have a leak think the bolts backed out for some reason. Noticed it when i pulled the motor. Also the rear main is leaking. Have new one to replace it. the motor come compleat from bell housing to the balancer. that is the flywheel and a farily new clutch also. the motor only has maybe 10,000 miles on it since rebuild. Also includes intake manifold and a webber 32/36 carb.

The one in pieces: Is a block crank head and all but one piston and rod. The cam is there but i would replace it. Not sure on the condition know i grease it when i put in the back of my grandpa's garage.

I say $500 for the running motor and $200 for the one in pieces. I am willing to ship you set up and pay for it. But more then that i am looking to trade.

Also have a NP 208 that i blew up if someone is looking for a rebuild. if not it's getting tossed.
