I have a seized a/c compressor in my Tin Top. Has been that way since I bought it. I was wondering if anyone here has air in a Tin Top who lives in S Cal or Arizona. Does a good working A/c keep up with the hot summers??? I would hate to spend a bunch of money on a compressor, clutch, dryer and converting to 134 gas and have it not keep cool in the cab.

Yes it will keep it cool.

Mine does well in Mo summers, (100 deg, 70% humitity) and worked in the desert on our trip to a/z, at low speeds with 3 guys in the zuk.

My dad has ac in his 87 soft top and even on the hottest days here in the central valley, it works as good as the ac in my Z71. The only thing about ac in a stocker is that it robs alot of hp in my opinion.
