I have a stock Samurai that I added some heavier bumpers front and rear. The old shocks are original. What are some good shocks to put on? Also a good steering stabilizer shock.

Thanks.

Okay, don't get those 5100's.

Go to the dealer and get the 'recommended' shocks and stabilizer.
Might be more than after market shocks, but hey, at least it's for the right weight.
Unless you want to do more research on what shocks do actually work for a stock Samurai.

Seems like I'm hearing auto parts shocks a bunch too.

I just want a decent ride.

I just purchased an OME kit springs shocks and stabilizer.
It is not installed yet.
I will post the results when I get all put on.
Shocks should be chosen to match the springs.
The shocks job is to control the springs rebound.
If you have old stock springs (like mine) the best shock in the world wont fix the ride quality.
That's why I went with a tried and trued "system".
Hope it works as good as they say.
