Just wondering if anybody here has removed the air pump and injection system from a 3FE. All that crap sure takes up a lot of room, for probably little or no benefit. No emissions testing where I live, but I don't want to cause any problems for the engine.

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

its a marathon to do if u dont want to screw something up, while u are at it definately clean out the injectors and IM and throttle body, ud be suprised what it'll do

I am going to be pulling my intake plenum off shortly, sending the injectors out to be cleaned and balanced. The cold start injector was NASTY when I pull it off, so I'm sure the intake is pretty gunked up. But that damned air pump is really in the way, as is the VCV and ASV on the inner fender, and that STUPID silencer thingy is really screwing up my plans for a dual battery setup.
