I'm looking to get my manual transmission rebuilt. Does anyone know of good toyota speacialist tranny shop in the Rocklin/Roseville area?

You might try T&M over on 3663 Omec Circle in Rancho. Not sure I'd call him a Toyota specialist but he seems to know his stuff.

He's doing an NV4500 for me right now and had done a SM465 in the past.

Hit up Dave from davezoffroadperformance.com ... he gave me a used w56 is great condition for a fair price, and he is up in Diamond Springs.
