OK, I got a 84 Chevy 4x4 with a TH350 and I want to build a doubler.

Right now the truck has a NP208 and I want to make the conversion as painless as possible.

Yup. IIRC, all '73 & '74 halftons had the 203 regardless of tranny. '75-'79 all automatics had the 203 while sticks had the 205. '80 all had a 205 regardless of tranny. '81 was when the 208 came into play.
