I know CA sucks for fireworks, not many places even sell the safe and sane ones anymore. So any good places to get them in say the reno/sparks/carson city area ?

Ouch. Battle Mountain is like 4 hrs from south lake from what google says. Schurz is like 2.5..... hmmm

You can't get them any where else because the are illegal here too but i think you can get some on the indian reservations in Battle Mountain

Indian Rez in Schurz has fireworks but they do not carry the big guns.. no M-80's etc... Blackcats, lady fingers bottle rockets etc... they do carry "Fun Packs" that have roman candles etc... and festival balls... good stuff... but pricey... expect to spend about a couple 100's for a decent amount.... Battle Mountain is an actual store with all the goodies...that one is about as good as it gets out of the west....

i'll just sit in the back yard, beverages at hand and watch both reno AND sparks w/ only a turn of the head! Hilltop property w/ a view pays off!
