Just wondering if anyone has bent a sent of the Spidertrax quarter elliptical springs? One side of my truck has about 1" from the spring to the bumpstop and the other is hitting.... not sure what's causing it.

You want them at 1"? or do you want more up travel?
Do you have pictures of how you mounted the half spring to the frame?
Where exactly are the bump stops (In line with the spring-wise)
Pictures would help.

Or they set up kind of like this: (minus the distance between the two.)

It's a complete Spidertrax kit (the early one with the Y upper link.)

Just figured out what happened. One of the 4 1/2" bolts that hold the spring pack to the frame snapped. That caused uneven pressure on the frame mount, cracked a weld or 2 and made it look like a bent spring. (Bought the whole back half of the frame used.)
Replaced the bolt, hammered on the bracket and now I have about 2" from the spring to the bumpstop.

Oh good, I was gonna say may be something shifted and one of the packs is pushing out more and that's how it was resting on the bump stop.
Well awesome then!

So you don't need shocks eh?:flipoff2::flipoff2:
