alright, just bolted up my D44 and got everything put together. Just got one problem, fuckers didn't give me drums w/the damn axle and nobody in town has em. Can only be ordered and I don't wanna spend 100 bux on drums. My old D35 has the smaller 10x1.75 shoes as compared to the D44 10x2.5, and I was wondering if it's possible to just swap the shoes around? I don't wanna invest in rear brakes until I'm doin my disk swap.

I agree with Brad, now is a fine time to just do rear disk conversion. It is easy and cheap (ie: inexpensive). Do a search on rear disk swaps, I am sure you will find a ton O' info. Good Luck!
