Guys, looking for performance numbers and any good sources for the engine? Desire 240hp and 200 or so lb/ft of torque give or take....have a old caprice manual but they quote hp at 150 stock and that just won't due.....

I hear there is also a high output version, something like 190-200hp. Anyone know what the actual internal differences are? Higher comp, more cam, what?

diff between CPI/MPI and TBI is about 40 HP in the favor of CPI. www.s-series.org has some numbers for s10s with that motor

Thanks everyone....just need a little more juice for my pig...or she goes on a diet and that probably won't get me to 3100 anytime soon.....
