I have an old 59" offset 44 with tapered axles in my Willys Wagon. I'm not sure where this thing started life but I want to convert it to one piece axles without spending an arm and a leg. Anyone know if stock one piece axles for this critter exist.
Before you start with the "Get a Ford 9" or Dana 60" stuff, the Willys is my daily driver and only gets wheeled in the desert ... 44's front and rear will work fine.

i'm not gonna go the "swap it" route. but i wonder if it it would be worthwhile to swap in a waggy rear D44. i mean its gonna be cheap, probly the same money as one peice axles, its offset to the pass side, but i dont know width.

Funny thing is, although the axle is offset, it's behind a D20 transfer case so the offset isn't needed. The setup works well so I really wanted to stay away from swapping the whole thing. That's why I wanted to change axles only.
