I have a Dayton 3C999 Portable Blower with a 10" squirrel cage (semi shrouded motor design) -- I use this for spot cooling and ventilating welder fumes out of the shop, but these are a staple in flood repair for carpet and floor drying.

Looks like this, but gray housing:

115V, 9A Portable Blower with 2-speed 1/2-horsepower motor (2870/3500CFM). 45 pounds, 20 inches tall, 18" wide, 24" long; 20' cord with built-in circuit breaker.

Online prices for these are silly...KingSolar.com (http://kingsolar.com/catalog/mfg/dayton/3c999.html) has 'em for nearly $800, and DrillSpot.com (http://www.drillspot.com/products/339603/Dayton_3C999_Portable_Blower) has 'em for nearly $600 and sells them for a hundred less. Grainger closed them out for about four bills. I'm looking for $150.

Steve's going to be upstate in three weeks, and can take it downstate with him.

Let me know.

I'd buy this in a hot minute if it wouldn't cost $50 to ship it across the US.

BTT for a good deal on a top quality piece of gear.

Do you need any trades? I dont particularly have an immediate need for this right now, but I have needed it in the past.

"Need trades?"
Well, more than anything, I need *time* -- but I'll consider other stuff. Drop me a line and let me know what you have...
