Now, I know it's coming...."use the search", but I already did. I am looking for something a little more specific. I have just finished putting a flatbed on my tow rig, and need help deciding what I am gonna do with the bumper. Most flatbeds have a receiver built into the tailboard, but I wanted to keep my aftermarket (homemade) bumper w/ receiver and B/U lights. The bumper is still full width, but I need help to decide wether I should shorten it, taper it, leave it alone, etc. I would like to see some pics of the rear of your flatbed / bumper for some ideas. I will try to post some pics of the current configuration when I get the digital camera back.
Thanks

Already looked at all those before I posted. They don't show enough detail for what I am looking for. As I already have my bed finished and painted, The bed is not as important as the tailboard. I am looking for more rear end views . As an added note, this is on my 82 F-350 tow rig with 36" Swampers. The current bumper is made of 4" square tubing with 2" receiver. It's stout, and I haven't been able to bend it yet, so I want to keep it.

What is the law regarding flatbeds and the truck scales. I thought that ALL flatbed trucks had to stop at all scales? Any truth to this?
