Hi,

I will be fabbing up my Dana 60 steering arms soon. I'v got almost everything figured out except fabbing the "dome" for the king pin spring. I'v seen some that sit ontop of the stamped cover. Is thare some pre-fabbed part out there that lends itself to this application?

Looks to me like most folks cut off a stock one and weld it back on.

check your local pipe supply house - you can find a weld on pipe cap that I have seen more than one set of arms use....

I think you can either reuse the cap that's on there, or go to the Chevy house and pick up some new ones. I don't think you have to fab anything but the puck that goes inside of it. I haven't replaced mine yet, but this is what I understand from the reading and looking at kits.

I'd look into it more before you go off on the deep end fabbing something that you don't need.
