lol probably there isnt much like it... its kinda a wierd truck... but its a ton of fun...

Badass- dont see rock sliders on a prerunner much.

Looks like your B pillar hoop for the cage is behind the cab. If i ever cage my standard cab, i want to do it that way.

i love the rocksliders i never have to worry about sliding up against a tree and ripping the rear tire off and its a perfect place to jack the truck up from.
yeah f-150 t-case and to fit it in there we had to offest the back of the trans 1in in the chassis...which worked out perfect cause the stock width f150 9in i use has equal lenght axles so the pumpkin is offset the same amount so the driveshaft is still straight.

Its the c pillar outside the cab but with the 3 seats in the truck i wanted as much room for the rear seat as possible.

its fun for crawling and stuff to.. I have a set of super swampers for it too.. 4x4 locker up front and spool in the rear and a big old v8:D:D:D

it is a 1990 nissan pathfiner or hardbody torsion bar.. we made our uretaine mounts off the frame..

the adjusters from the torsion bar were then cut down and drilled and tapped with a set screw..

the arms are 1x2.120 and are wrapped with 1in x 1/8 flat bar.

That's a great idea, going to have to borrow that one...with props to you!

we use a simialar set up on our class 7 race truck, only difference is it uses the 3 bolt end that attached to the a-arms on the truck instead of the adjuster ends.. seams easier to mount but i dont think they looked as clean..

we used 18in long arms on my truck it gave some really good leverage.. on our class 7 truck we did 21in long arms.. and he needs to run the torsion bar outa the lifted nissans (couple co make aftermarket ones)

had a new trans in within 2 days and had it back out flyin again, when the trans blew i was doing its final test run before i loaded it on the trailer for the baja 1000 prerun over halloween weekend.

solid axles fronts are not very common on prerunners on some classes they require racers to be solid axle front and they can be pretty fast, but they dont quiet handle the same as the independent.

A few friends and I were planning a JeepSpeed build, but the military had plans for each of us, and it all fell through a little more than a year ago. I've been thinking about a V-8 Ranger pre-runner for a long time. Hell...I've got the whole powertrain except for the transmission.

more race truck videos.. we went and did a morr race this weekend and had a ton of fun, we won class 7 and had a great time. the truck had no problems and we pounded the truck pretty hard so that is a good sign.

haha i wish, the exploder is the fiances new daily driver. Its gonna stay stock for a long time. once i get her a new car then this can become her toy.

Any specs on the new lights? They look slick, the fold back setup is cool too.

The lights are from rigid industries they are led lights and are super amazing we just got hooked up with a sponsorship from them. I think I am going to put some more of the bars in the grill to replace the 3 center lights. With the roof lights on I can't even tell that my Hellas are even on cause they are so bright

the lights in the hood scoop are red/white/blue strobe that come on with the siren for when passing someone in a race. the upper bar in the grill is white and the lower bar is amber.

I think you need a couple more lights lol. Truck is looking awesome, id love to try desert racing one day

Haha if only I could afford it I would love one more amber bar in there. I can't fit another of that size bar in the grill but I might be able to squeeze one more of the new single row bars in under the 2 in the grill.
