Anyone have any experience with it?
Does it perform well?
I have a friend with a TJ who wants to run 35" boggers.....He is looking into a couple kits and wants to run this one.......Is he nuts?
Also, he is running a d35 up front on it, but wants to upgrade the steering on it.....What is his best option?
Curry steering??
Thanks Guys!

whoooa. I didn't know they started putting D35's on the front's now:D
Haven't heard of any complaints yet. I know of a guy about an hour away from me who really likes his. he runs 36's or 37's I believe and no clearance issues.

First of all, Dont waste your money on upgrading the d30 front.
Depending on what he wants todo with his TJ, I say skip the skyjacker kit and go the RE long arm kit or something like it.
I am no TJ person by all means but from what I have seen this kit performs the best.

I second that. Skyjacker not bad but the RE long arm kit is the best performer.

Hard to beat that RE long arm as kits go.
Buddy of mine is running that and loves it.

Plus I think Skyjacker is costly for what you get and could get out of Rubicon/Teraflex's longarm kits. Your buddy better be ready for a whole world of things to change on his TJ with a 6" lift. Once he goes there he'll be doing more its like a money/time blackhole. Understand this though the lift isn't crap its just that he can get a better lift for about the same price. Shit with the right tools, understanding, and time he can make a long-arm kit and do some real kick-ass custom work that he would be a lot happier with seems like he's willing to spend the money. I'd say search the board I've seen some sick custom lifts done here screw the Skyjacker 6".

Hey if hes happy with the 6" Skyjacker more power to him (he'll be wishing he went with the RE Long Arm tho :flipoff2: ).
I agree, don't mess with the D30 up front..waste of money. Stick a 44 up front and a 60 outback..or a 9"...then just make your own crossover steering for the front.
Anyways..got any pics of that Skyjacker 6" ? I wanna see how it compares to the Long Arm.

skyjacker is over priced and has a fiar amount of flex...I would say that RE or Rock Krawler long arms provide the best articulation of ANY TJ kit out there, over the counter that is :p (if that is what you want)
I am now working on a triangulated rear shock setup for my TJ...anyone know someone that has done this for some pointers?

Whatever kit you run, make sure you reinforce the stock control arm mounts. They are complete garbage:flipoff2: .
