Before ya even start the Soccer mom shit I know I know but I got the Sploder already.

I plan on putting D60's frt and rear with a spool in the rear and ARB in the front with 38's all around (have all this already). Motor will be 4.0 with a list of mods a mile long and the tranny will be c4/c5 bellhousing AtlasII t-case. Coils on all 4 corners w/3-link to get bout 6" lift. Rockram Steering with the frame all boxed in around the gearbox. And getting quite creative on the body, the fenders are going away all together and being replaced by a full Exo cage. The top I am still playing with but maybe something like this or just losing it all togehter and coming up with a frame and redneck convertible type thing.

Only thing with the 5.0 is cooling the beotch down is damn near impossible. Heeps are a fortune round here and I couldn't find a 85 Toy for less than my left arm so Sploder it is.

I like your choice of starting point but I'm not sold on the whole exo-cage thing. Hell I think they just look silly. As far as the engine, why wste money on building up a 4.0L? You'd spend all that money and still not be satisfied with the performance.

At least your starting off with something that was a 4x4 to begin with. I'm with paul, exo's tend to look bulky when on the street. I like the look of tubes, but when tucked in and blended into the body lines a much as possible, of course on explod-der theres no where to tuck.

I think I'd find an eb to put that junk in, then you may have something when your done.
