i came out to my jeep today and looked under and this is what i saw

i looked around and the only places that i could see any fluid was here

and all over my cat, the fluid is red, i checked everything and all the bolts were tight and the silicone sealant still had a good seal, can anyone point me in the right direction? thank you, Jamie

Sounds like the output shaft seal is leaking. Check to make sure that the T-case vent is working properly.

Pull off the driveline.. pull off the cv yoke.. this might require a large socket.. place your mouth over the output shaft making sure your lips are sealed up against the seal there.. and BLOW.. If you feel air coming out from the vent.. its working :flipoff2:

Jamie,
"red" is a giveaway... the 231 uses ATF. The vent line is (on Mine) centered on the fire wall just under the hood. Over filling the tcase will cause it to spew out the vent. Any play in the output? If it'll move, bearring time most likely. If not just the seal...most likely.

Try taking your d/s off, yoke nut off, then put some black rtv behind where the nut goes and button it all back up.
