I got a 07 CTD and im looking at the Mickey Thompson Baja Claw Radial.
If anybody has ever ran these i was woundering how well they hold up and are they any good in the rain or snow.
Im not to concerend about towing because i have my work truck that i do that with.

personaly i don't like them in the rain. they seem to want to spin alot on 99 superduty. snow was not to bad, they did alright. i will not be getting another set because of weight limitations. they give me alot of sidewall flex when i am hauling a good sized load.

They don't seem to have a very good life span on the heavier diesel equipped trucks. Even if this isn't your tow rig, get a set of load E tires. You will get more miles out of them.

We aren't even getting that good of a life out of them on our Durango.

get the toyos....they take the least amount of weight to balance...they ride great on 3/4 and 1 ton trucks.....my are d rated but look at the weight capacity...my d rated tire will carry 3400" per tire.

the m/t baia is loud on the road and they also have a softer compound.

look into the maxxis tiers they are good tires and good prices. a bit on the high side but you get a good tire.

i'm running the goodyear's on my 91 we steped up to the e load range. there tred patern is differant. two center rows not three. they seem to work well. i trailer my rig into some areas that are soft dirt so these things do well. they grip well are nice on they road. they have 5k miles on them and the little nubs are just now comin off. we got ours from sears like $650 for 4 mounted.
