I spent all night last night helping a buddy who we think lost a lift pump in his 03 Dodge 3500. He just bought this thing with 200K+ miles with a blown tranny. He had it repaired and now the truck did what seems to be typical, dies on the road, throws the P0628 code and will start and run for a couple seconds then shuts down.

He's got another truck so it's not a huge rush but he wants to fix it right. I see the FASS system as well as a few other options plus I've seen that Dodge was relocating the pump to the tank under warranty situations. Has this been a good option for people doing a lot of towing or is it better to just go with an aftermarket fuel system?

Mine did the same thing, and I had it fixed under the warranty. They put the in-tank one in. I didn't have any problems with it after that. If not under warranty, I would just put a FASS on it. Just the 95 gph one unless he plans on doing lots of power upgrades as well.

I did the Raptor on mine and wish that I would have done the Airdog. I have struggled with fuel management issues. The extra filter and the air separator would be awesome! HTH

I have a lift pump with zero miles if you need one. I did a FASS 150/150.
