I was reading up about pinion angles and cant seem to find a good writeup about it. I just ordered some leaf spring perches and I am planning to run 6-7" of lift and was curious about the angle before I weld on the perches. Whats a good/easy way of figuring the correct angle to go with? Know of any good writeups you can direct me to?

Roger Brown has a great write up on driveshaft/pinion angles.

as a generalization, the pinion is USUALLY pointed at the transfer case out put. this will split the operating angles of the ujoints, keeping them at the lowest angle possible and nearly identical operating angles.

With a CV that's the case, other wise parallel is better.
