I have searched and looked at pictures and still cant seem to come up with an answer for my question. I am running brake lines on my 14 bolt which has a disk brake conversion. I thought about running the hard line to the rubber line above the spring plate but keeping below the "hump" so nothing would pinch the line. Then i have thought about running the rubber line across the spring plate and connecting to the hard line. But would this ever cause any problems and what about running the hard line under the backside of the leaf spring mount like factory. This seems like it would cause problems with rocks pinching the line. Also considered the idea of running hard line across the crossmember of the frame and then rubber down to the calipers but this seems like the rubber line would come in contact with the tire too much. I need suggestions pictures something. This is on a chevy half ton truck.

I know this isn't the best example of what you're looking for but perhaps it can give you an idea of what to do (or not to do!).
This is a pic of my 14b w/ disks. My calipers are mounted low to clear the leaf springs and I will rotate them back up when I go to a link style suspension. So far, having the hoses low and behind the axle haven't been a problem but I'd like to move them higher when I get rid of the leaf springs.

Ignore the arrows and text regrading the "splice". Someone was asking about how I shortened my 14B axle.
