First trip to Fordyce. Here are some shots of my wide bastard working through winch hill 3. You can really feel the squeeze with Rockwells and 44's. She almost tipped once, but not quite. Had zero oil press for a bit. Took me some time to make it through this one. Thanks to Jason for the spot, and thanks for the patience from the guys behind me waiting to run the hill. Good times!

Hey I was the guy in the green jeep that ran it before you and rolled on my passenger side and lost my plugs in my sidewall. I think the rear steer helped you out a lot. Did you pick up that hard gray case I think it was tools? I set it on one of the rocks on the side before you backed over it.

That log has a specific purpose and it’s not for adding traction. It works great as a ski if you break a ball joint and need to pull the rig up to fix it. :D I went to move it back to the top of the hill but is was stuck.

How wide, sidewall-to-sidewall?

I would also like to know. I am at 89" sidewall to sidewall. With a 44/60, 39.5 TSL's and offset rims.

Great job on the line btw, haven't seen anyone take that line b4. Glad you enjoyed "the slot".

Just busted out the tape and took some measurements. The widest spot, sidewall-to-sidewall is 93 inches. The tires are 44x19.5x15 inch TSL Boggers. My daily driver '99 TJ has 33x12.50x15 BFG Muds on 10" rims, it measures out @ 77 inches at the widest! Quite the difference.

Also just measured out the wheelbase on the crawler, 111 inches.

And the tools, thanks for grabbing those out of the way, we got 'em! The rear-steer is still taking some getting used to, but does come in handy in many spots.

Here are a couple videos of the hole. First one is the "almost tip," and the second is the pull through, after grinding on the front pumpkin for a bit!

Is that NorCalTrav's old rig?....CJlagos rig before that?

Life of the TJ started in Virginia (CJ Lagos), Then to Davis, Ca (NorCalTrav), Then up to Coeur d'Alene, Id (Brett), Then to Me in Cd'A & Roseville----Back and forth....

Here is the build that CJ Lagos did on the beast, if anyone wants to take a look, lots of pics.
