Just bought a 77 FJ40 and the person who had it just had a fuel cell in the rear. It has a GM 4.3 FI motor and I am looking for a replacement tank I could mount under the tub. The passenger seat is not an option. I am finding not as many vendors for aftermarket FJ stuff as my Broncos so I could use some guidance there are well.

The seats were replaced so the stock one under the passenger seat will not fit. Does anyone sell an aftermarket kit or is the a jeep one that fits?

I have a conferr tank that mounts under the rear. If you are looking for something like that....

I used one out of a mid 70's Camaro. Turn it sideways & you can use the stock filling location. If you are better at fab than I am you can even make it look good. :)
