I have a dana 44, just happens to be on an S-Blazer. Anyway, I'm gonna have it sprung over and I have flat top knuckles. My question is, can I bolt the steering arms on without having a tapered hole and using those cone shaped inserts? I know there'll have to be a way to secure it. I was just wondering if either lockwashers or locknuts would be safe enough to use. Thanks for enlightening my dumbass.

Doesnt sound too safe to me. Shaker is the man when it comes to the high steer and cross over stuff. www.shakerbuilt.com

Yeah, I checked the site out. Good stuff. I was just hoping to save a few bucks. I can make the arms myself except for the tapered holes. Oh well, need to stop being a cheap ass. Thanks for replying.
